Journalist and Fishing Guide
Jörg Strehlow lives with his wife Kerstin and son Jurij in Hamburg. He was born in Worms am Rhein (1970) and fell after only a few years the fascination of being on the water and fishing. Fascination soon became passion. The love of fishing became a profession in 19812 and Strehlow began to talk about his experiences in the trade press. He became an editor at the fishing magazine BLINKER, later founded a fishing school and today is regarded as the driving force behind the guiding scene and the most experienced fishing guide in Germany.
He developed the most successful method for zander fishing with the "lazy method" and wrote a two-digit one Number of books on different fishing themes. His well-received bestseller "Zanderangeln" (Kosmos-Verlag) has already been released in 2014 in its third edition. Today, the trained editor acts as a full-time professional guide on Zander & amp; Sea trout. He is also an author for various specialist magazines, a sought-after product developer at BALZER and a consultant in the fishing scene. His philosophy is to emphasize the adventure of fishing and confidence in one's own abilities. His guiding principle: "Not the bait catches the fish but the angler!"
Environmentally friendly behavior, sustainable development and preservation of biodiversity in our unique fishing grounds are top priorities for Jörg when he is on the water with his guests. and a little humility before the unique gifts of nature. That's why he also completed his training as a certified nature and landscape guide in the Biosphere Reserve in Lower Saxony Elbe Valley and successfully completed it in March 2015.
Jörg manifests the idea of sustainable fishing in August 2015 by launching our MOBY softbaits on the market, which are completely produced without toxic plasticizer in Germany - to a positive eco-balance. As early as 2005, the contact with the guys from "Otto Technology" arose and it began a long-term exchange for the production of environmentally friendly soft baits. Also weights that do without lead and that are combined with a particularly environmentally friendly fishing hook are used since 2015 in Jörg Strehlow's Guiding tours.
Andy Weyel has been working professionally in the angel scene for over twenty years. Most people know him but trout fishing, where he achieved outstanding results! But that is not his only passion. You can call him a true "all-rounder", because he is after everything that has fins. He has been fishing since he was six years old and has not burned anything: starting with carp fishing, match and feeder fishing, sea and fly fishing, he has learned almost everything well-founded and practiced for many years. His shingled darlings, giant catfish and sturgeon, he has successfully fished in many places around the world. His friend and fishing companion Sascha Schneider is something of a foster son of Andy. He has also been fishing since he was a child, and has his fishing interests in lure fishing for pike, perch, pike-perch and trout. The extensive experience of the two are used in the development of our bait and make it so successful.
In developing the cult bait "Duckfoot" played two crucial things: First, Andy Forellenteig has always been particularly good form. On the other hand, Sascha (especially in rainy weather) hates to get this sticky dough into shape - and constantly renew it on the hook!
Now there is the "duckfoot" made of a non-toxic and extremely resistant material - made in germany by MOBY Softbaits! Sascha's hands stay clean and Andy just catches more trout instead of kneading - a great result for everyone!
